Design

The Total Trainer Pilates Pro Reformer is designed with a steel, black frame. A 14” x 46” glide board made of a deluxe double stitched box cushion sits atop the frame and slides with ball bearing rollers. Chrome plated side rails provide stability for the machine.

The Pilates Trainer comes equipped with both strength training attachments as well as Pilates attachments. The strength training attachments include a:

  •  Redesigned Pro AB Crunch Strap
  • Bicep Curl Press Bar
  • Power Weight Bar for Adding Free Weights
  • Pull-up Push-up Bar
  • Sit-up Cuff Strap
  • Heavy Duty Squat Board
  • Independent Twin Handles
  • 3 & 4 Point Pulley System
  • Dual Side Glide Board Pulleys

The Pilates attachments include a:

  • Pilates Toe Bar
  • Pilates Shoulder Pads
  • Pilates Resistance Bands (Provide 21 Levels of Resistance)
  • Dual Leg Cuffs

Features

Unlike most Pilates reformers, this machine can accommodate users weighing up to 400 pounds with a maximum height of 6’7”. This makes the Total Trainer Pilates Pro a piece of equipment that everyone in the family can use. Moreover, you use your body weight for resistance, eliminating the need for heavy weights.

The included accessories allow for added resistance. For example, the sit-up cuff strap and advanced pro abdominal crunch strap can be used to strengthen and tighten your abdominal muscles. You can work your upper body using the bicep curl press bar and/or pull-up push-up bar. The squat board and dual cuffs are ideal for lower-body exercises. You can also vary your resistance with free weights, which you supply, using the power bar.

The system ships fully assembled, which is seldom the case with home fitness equipment. To help with the various exercises you can perform using this machine, an instructional manual and four program cards ship with the system. The system also ships with a Pilates video.

Dimensions

The Bayou Pilates Trainer weighs in at approximately 100 pounds and measures:

98” L x 24” W x 48” H
